From a use perspective Comcast has much lower upload speeds than FIOS (they allocate more of their limited bandwidth to downloads since that is what most people use) and is prone to slowing down during busy times of the day due to congestion. Budget broadband internet plans are a great deal. Xfinity is generally a very good value, especially at the middle and lower tiers. In fact, it offers some of the best budget plans of any of the major internet service providers, with a 50 Mbps Internet Essentials plan for less than $20 per month and a 400 Mbps plan for $50 per month in some areas.Xfinity's cable box interface is nicer, but it was more expensive than Fios for me.
